  • ELOISE 大意與心得

大意：
ELOISE-一個長得不算好看的六歲小女孩，和她的保母、狗和烏龜長期住在紐約廣場飯店的頂樓，穿著她那千年不變的白襯衫、黑色吊帶百摺裙，每天在飯店裡忙得不亦樂乎。
她穿梭在廣場飯店華麗氣派的各個廳室裡，用她獨特的方式，幫著工作人員進行每天例行的工作，她好忙好忙，忙著點客房服務、忙著急救娃娃、忙著拼字、忙著倒立、忙著打好多好多的電話．．．

菲利普斯學院（Phillips Academy）位於美國麻薩諸塞州埃塞克斯縣安多佛（又譯「安多福」或「安道夫」）。該學院是一所私立高中，是十校聯盟成員之一。該校現任董事長為華裔美籍投資家唐騮千，他畢業於該校，後來進入耶魯大學。傳統上，菲利普斯學院的學生會進入耶魯大學，而她的競爭對手菲利普斯埃克塞特學院則會把學生送到哈佛大學。

  • 紐約廣場飯店（Joanna）

The Plaza 廣場飯店(since 1907)
廣場飯店是位於紐約市的一座豪華五星級飯店，也是該市的著名地標。採用法國文藝復興時期的風格而建，在中央公園南側構建出一個“城堡”狀的建築。飯店共有19層，高76米（250英尺），長120米（400英尺），東臨大軍團廣場，廣場飯店因此而得名。廣場飯店於1988年被紐約市地標保護委員會定為地標建築，和華道夫-阿斯多里亞酒店，成為紐約市僅有的兩家被定為「國家歷史地標」的飯店。
